I've once heard that manatees are endangered from humans and especially getting caught from motor boats.

i'm interested in oceans, and marine animals and would like to know what other jobs are available, that are not marine biology, oceanography or things like that.
possibly something involving scuba diving, coral reefs, conserving, rescuing endangered marine animals, or helping them to not become endangered - that sort of thing (like what you can do on gap years).
is there anything i can do without going to uni?
on gap years you can save dolphins for example, and their habitats - is there jobs like this that involve scuba diving as well, and other animals?
