i see sometimes my lovebird in the breeding box and sometimes i see both of them in side of it

what does that mean

I seen mine in the nest box and after awhile my female started shredding paper and putting it in her wings I didn't know the sex of both of them but I do now because they mated and my female laid four eggs two have hatched so I have two of the cutest little babies and two in the way so if you have one of each gender you might get babies if not they might be getting ready to breed even if they aren't male and female
