Wait and see, the male could be wanting to mate with her and your female duck could be running away. But if the male starts attacking, thats when you should get another female duck for company.

Okay so I have a female duck and she had a companion male duck but he got ran over. We have another group of ducks.. a female and a male. After her partner died she was really sad and didn't eat but after a few days she seems to try to fit in with the other ducks but the male duck just bows his head chasing her. I don't know what to do she is so alone.Should I get her another duck? :( Or should I just wait and see if the other group will accept her? They don't seem mean but the male chases her away....
