Likely nothing can be done for it. Way of life that it must die. If you keep as pet and not in the world where it belongs for food and mating it will likely die anyway.

My brother and I were outside catching lightning bugs when he accidentally hurt one. Its wing is bent backwards and it can't fly. I have it in a bug catcher. Is there anything I can do to help its wing. Also I'm going to keep it until it can fly again. If it won't be able to fly again I will keep it as a little pet. What should I feed it and is there anything I should know to insure it survives. I know it sounds stupid helping a lightning bug but I just didn't want to leave it while it was vulnerable.
