If you have a completely screened (top and sides) patio, or pool enclosure, you could let them out in the morning or late afternoon. If anyone opens a door to the yard, they will fly away. If their wings aren't clipped, you may have a hard time catching them.

I have two parakeets 1 male and one female. They are somewhat tame. Is it okay for me to take the outside in the shade in florida during the summer? or would it be too hot for them? Thanks. Ohh and what are some snacks they can have?
