Is there a job to stop animal cruelty?

Hi! I'm happy to help! I have a Masters of Science in Zoology & have worked with animals for over 20 years. I would obviously focus on biology, oceanography, zoology, microbiology, any animal science &/or animal welfare management courses. You can work in veterinarian offices, dog training, shelters (S.P.C.A., Humane Society, etc...) zoos, animal conservation groups (IFAW or WWF) or even work in making legislation that protects animals! There's many choices, but realize if you work directly saving abused animals, you will see the horrible conditions & cruel people associated with it. It's heart wrenching, but worthwhile work & realize it does NOT pay much. You might look into making more money elsewhere & donating your time to saving animals. It's hard choices, but I love working with animals & love seeing young people excited to get into the animal fields!

Sure you can help animals, but animal cruelty will never end, since humans are such a stupid waste of a species crawling across the surface of this planet, the simpletons who abuse animals won't ever stop.

Animal cruelty will exist, no matter what you do. If you want to help, you can contact your local rescue groups and volunteer to help them or even ask if you can work for them. Appreciate your kindness towards animals.

Contact your local SPCA; they do anti-cruelty enforcement work.

I know that there is a job like cops to save animals from like abandon houses but I don't think I could do that as a everyday job. I would be happy to save them but sad to see how they were treated.. Any other jobs? I'm going into my first yr in high-school.. What classes should I take to help animals and what type of college classes (after HS of course) should I take to help animals too?

Gracias :)
