Is my cockatiel upset?

Posted at: 2014-11-15
He is scared because he went by car and took him to a new place. He will be adjusted to it in some days.

He is most likely to be scared, moving animals into different homes can frighten them and they will try to hide away, give it some time and he will start to get better and be himself again!

Don't worry he will be fine, it's normal for all animals, good luck????

I've had my cockatiel for 2 or 3 years now. He is a male. Because my mum and dad are divorced I took him to live with mum for a while as my dad Is on holiday. I took him by car and as you can imagine he was terrified but anyway when we got there he started flying about and screaming for a while then he went quiet and went in his cage and fluffed up. Today I noticed he wasn't singing so I took him out and gave him a scratch which he took well and closed his eyes and allowed me to scratch him. I then put him back in the cage and he fluffed up and went to sleep. Is he upset is that why he is t singing?
