Morals do depend on many things of course..but the emphasis is too much on the word morally, but by eating/killing/humanely or inhumanely are we commitng an act that is sinful or bad? Do you follow me? I'm not advocating for either side, I was just looking at various arguments to challenge my own ideals.
There is no such thing as "Morally wrong".
Morals depend on too many things. We don't know if animals have a consciousness. I don't know if anyone except me has a consciousness, and if you have one you might not know if anyone around you has one.
It's not something you can agree on. When does artificial intelligence become consciousness? Does it ever?.
All theses questions are not answerable got now, maybe later when we'll have a better understanding of the brain. Now eating itself is a natural process, there is nothing "Wrong" about it. even among religious morals.
Killing however is a different question
No it is not morally wrong.
I am undertaking a moral project which undeniably quantifies many a question, in some way I feel as though in educating myself in food process and produce I have just opened pandoras box. There can be no wrong or right answer, but I put it to the masses? What do you think...? We are lead to believe we are the most intelligent specie after all...in which follows the point that we are intelligible enough to food source without slaughter...but i believe it comes down to moral compass..but that's m own opinion. What do you believe...? Please tell me...
