Are you talking about budgies? Some females can talk and not all males can. My first female learned to whistle several tunes but none of my others did, neither male nor female. It just depends on the individual bird :/

So I'm still working on bonding with my birds and trying to get the male to like me and then I find out that males can only talk that's GREAT!!!! Now I really have deal with him. Does anyone know what I female can do? Or can I still teach her to whistle or say hello??????
