Wolf spiders are rather different in appearance, but hobo spiders are in the same family, and may closer resemble the domestic house spider.
Here is a smaller male grass spider on my desk lamp:
i found what may be a baby grass spider, but not for sure. it seems to have to appearance of grass spider, but it's somewhat lighter, and tannish colored. I have seen that wolf spiders and hobo spiders are often mistaken for grass spiders and vice versa. What other kinds may a grass spider appear like?
