I found an injured baby pigeon and had to intervene.?

I've seen quite a lot of baby birds in need. What you can do is go to a pet store with bird supply and buy baby bird formula (Which is also good for adults having a difficult time eating). Whip up a bit of that stuff and put it in a syringe (The thing you use to put medicine in your mouth). Try to give some to the bird. If the baby bird food isn't an option, try some oatmeal or something healthy and tasty but mushy and that is light. Hope this helps.

Try giving the pigeon wild bird seed vegetables or cracked corn, try giving food that pigeons eat. I think the reason te baby pigeon didn`t eat yet is because he is not familiar with the cat food, stressed and scared. He could also be injured badly ,bring the baby pidgeon to the vet but not alot of vets will treat a wild pidgeon but it`s worth a try.

I found a baby pigeon at work. I Had to move him because he was in the middle of a high traffic area and customers were upset and worried. I was told that if I moved him the parent would not care for him because they would smell me on him. So I bought a small cage lined it with newspaper and covered it with a old bed sheet. I am keeping him in the indoor breeze way at my home. It is warm in there. I also left a small dish of water near him. I was told to try and feed him canned cat food. He is not eating yet. Also his right side is weak and is favoring his left side. I don't know what more I can do. Is there any suggestions you can give me?
