Huge bee hive?

All of you have fine answers. . I've had to deal with this approx.100 times. I have never been stung while doing this yet. Now, I've been stung, many times, but not if I approach the nest after dark and already have a plan. All but a few of the insects come home at dark. During the day, half are out foraging. So, after they all are home safe, Blast there *** with that wasp and hornet killer. Remember, memorize the Target, check your path; you don't want to stumble if you need to leave the area. Use a good flash light as little as possible. Any porch light, turn off. Turn your flashlight on, locate the target and spray the nest from about 10 or twelve ft., in the entrance hole for about 10 full seconds and walk away for an hour.

Bee hives do not hang on trees; it must be a hornet nest. So you do not have to feel bad about killing these insects.

You can buy an aerosol can designed for just this purpose: killing an entire colony of hornets or wasps. Go to a local nursery or perhaps hardware store and ask for the best product. These are typically designed to shoot 15 feet or more, so you do not have to get too close.

Here is one which I mention because it gets excellent reviews and is not toxic to people, mammals, birds, reptiles, but only to insects, spiders, and such, and it kills instantly. http://www.amazon.com/Ecosmart-EcoEXEMPT...

I used something like this to eliminate a colony of yellow jacket wasps, which I admit are less aggressive than hornets.

Call Orkin. Bees are serious business! They don't fool around! They get after ya!

Call Orkin man! Or SOMEBODY professional! I had to do it when yellow jackets made a nest in a center block wall next to my exit bedroom door! That was too freaky for me, cause I'm allergic to most bee stings!

forgive me, its a hornet nest not a bee hive...

so today, I found that there is a huge bee hive hanging on a tree that is in front of my front door. The size of it seems bigger than a soccer ball and I was wondering how I can get rid of it without calling pest control since it would cost money...

By any chance, would the city hall be able to help us getting rid of this bee hive without spending money? because my family isn't doing well in terms of the finance.
