How to you know if a hammy is hungry?

First, a science experiment requires a large sample size to make any conclusions. You have a sample size apparently of one. Second, a vocabulary for the experiment doesn't use the term hammy. Do you know the scientific name of hamsters? Do you know the steps for formulating a scientific experiment? Have you anticipated what the results would be, how you would graph them, how you would use statistics in your experiment BEFORE you do the experiment?

Have you actually researched the scientific literature on your question? Since you can't teach your "hammy" to talk, you can't know if it is hungry. The most you can do is to test something like food intake. Do you have a way of weighing the food you give the animal and the animal itself? How accurate is that scale?

If you insist on doing this experiment, just because you think it's convenient, then you might consider if there are different hamster commercial feeds, to ask if your animal shows a preference for one food type over another. Again, you would need to be able to weigh the food before and after feeding to make any statement.

Hammies are generally ALWAYS hungry honey...

I know im gonna expect some answers!

idk if my hammy is hungry. I also need a vocabulary for my animal experiment in science (rrgh). I just need to know becoz I normally put in food full or empty, every other day. I don't want my ham to over eat or it will die.

what gestures should she show? how much should I put?

forgive ,me if this bothers you. but if you must, EARN POINTS HERE IF YOU ANSWER! talk rude and you get flagged :)

hammy is healthy though, no signs of disgust for 2 months of life!
