Birds feel more secure on the highest perch. Holding your hand at shoulder height can discourage them from seeking your shoulder.
Also drop your elbow so your forearm is perpendicular to the floor so they can't run along your arm up to your shoulder.
they are not afraid of me,,,,they even get on my head,,,but when i show my fingers they run away of climb to my head....why are they avoiding my fingers,,,,????
i have 2 ring neck parrots.they always like to be on my shoulders.even if i take them in my hands they climb to my shoulders,what should i do to make them stay in my hand
