The first time I tried, all 50 chicks died. You need to experiment and get lucky, or study with somebody who has done this for a few years. There are just too many things that could go wrong, that's why commercial chicken operations buy day-old chicks from specialists.

I've been wanting to start hatching chicks. I've never done it before and I'm not really sure how to. I've had chickens for years so I'm very familiar around them. I also have some roosters.
