Females should only be bred once a year or so.
The male budgies can technically breed every day of the year, however females are advised to not breed more than twice a year, but you shouldn't worry about the male :) he can breed to his hearts' content.
hey I have a male and two female budgies. I plan on breeding the male with one of the females at the beginning of next year. I was wondering if I could breed the male with the other female after the babies have grown up and left? I would of course give him a break between then but how long should I give him before putting him in a breeding cage with the other females?
