I raise love birds and I have found that most lovebirds wont over eat. I do not think you have anything to worry about..give your lovie fruits and veggies also..mine love apples
My lovebird is currently about 4months old and eats A LOT, previously, I did give her a little more food than I probably should, a mix of pellet and seeds. She seems to be really excited every time there is food in her cage and now she is rather fat. I wanted to make her eat lesser and so I reduced her food in take a little, but now it hurts me inside when I see her constantly checking her food bowl for food and eats furiously immediately she sees the food and always finishes everything immediately. Am. I supposed to feed her this little?
