How much do cockatiels cost?

I want to buy a albino and lutino cockatiel and want to know the real rate so i don't get ripped off.

Hello there! An albino cockatiel should cost you anywhere from 60 to 150 dollars depending on where you get him. A lutino cockatiel will cost you about the same. 70 to 100 dollars from a breeder. Both birds will be a lot more expensive from a pet store, so I recommend buying from a breeder. Then you have to remember all the supplies. The food, cage, toys etc the total cost of everything would be around $300. Hope this helped. If you have any more questions just ask because I love to answer cockatiel questions. Good luck with your new birds!

At a pet store an albino can cost $100-140. Lutinos are the same way. In fact no matter what color variation it is, at my local petco all cockatiels cost $130. Yet I got both of mine for $75 at a breeder. So definetly look for breeders near you. In the picture: my 8 month old whiteface male cockatiel and my 5 month old cinnamon pearl pied male cockatiel.

2 cockatiels for $80? I don't find that price too bad at all. I have seen cockatiels cost more than $80 EACH. Now THAT is bad.

I hope you get them! Please post pics of them. I bet they are gorgeous.
