TW Jerry any type of bird's eggs live up to a maximum of 10 days with a warmth of about 30 degree and 5 degree minimum and did you only see 1 bird or 2? it might be that because of the rain the mother abandon the egg's or the father/mother died

There's been a Robin nest on my balcony for the last 3 weeks or so. Mama bird started building it a month ago and she would return everyday, I know because I can see and hear her. Since May 7th, she stopped visiting (I keep a close eye), no returns, not even if its raining. The pass few day's weather. (Hi 86,Lo 48),(Hi 77, Lo 58), (Hi 68, Lo49), (Hi 82, Lo 43). Today another thunderstorm occurred and my roommate pulled the nest in and put it under a heat lamp. I'm just wondering if it's too late.

For those wondering if we did the right thing. I think so, never has mama bird left the nest for so long. I'm on Summer vacation right now, there is no way I would've missed her.
