How can I tame a lovebird?

it matters. A tame bird will let you interact with it. the opposite for an untamed 1

I currently have 20 lovebirds and they're pretty easy to tame. When I first started off, I had two birds about 2/3 months old (I recommend getting them around this age) and all you really have to do I dedicate time to them to play, talk, feed them. I also carried them around the house with me so it can get used to moving a lot while on the shoulder also so they wouldn't get scared easily with household items/ loud noises. And older bird obviously is going to be harder to tame due to him never being held/petted or having interaction with a human but it is possible with a lot of patience, took me about 3 weeks just to be able to have a 2 year old bird on my finger which was really hard since you have to earn their trust. So just have a lot of patience and love towards your bird and it'll make it a lot easier to tame. I would also praise it with a treat like a salty chip or a ritz cookie. Something with a bit of salt. ( too much is bad so just a piece)

I have been looking at lovebirds to adopt, but most are not tame. I've only owned a guinea pig before, but never a bird. Does anyone know if it matters if the bird is tame? (btw i know a few training tips)
