If they attack you, defend yourself. Borrow the airsoft gun and if they attack you again, shoot them! Or if you aren't willing to do that at least try to hit them if they come near you. The bird brains will back off if you stand your ground and show them they can't **** with you.

So now that it is summer breeding time the seagulls are in their nests which is proving a massive problem for me. Today I was out walking with my baby cousin and a seagull swoops down at us trying to **** on us. It circled round for another pass and it's claws got my baby cousin in the back of the head. At this stage we were running back from where we came from trying to get away. I wouldn't mind but this has happened a few times and tis incidence was in a housing estate. I literally cannot leave my own house to go to the shops anymore with getting attacked. As a result of tis attack my cousin needed stitches in the back of her head. I've contacted my local authority but they tell me they cannot do anything because for some stupid reason where I live (ROI) they are a protected species despite there being thanes of them. I want to know what I can possibly do, after today's incident I'm tempted to borrow my mates AIRSOFT gun and finish that bird off (I'll never be able to bring myself to do that). Any help is appreciated on this topic I should be able to walk out of my own house in my own town and be able to be safe. Even if it means only driving hem off. Thanks.
