Well if you have a male they should be fertile and if you don't have a nest box get something she can nest in put all the eggs in it for her wash your hands before touching it

Somehow, my zebra finches created a nest in their food cup. Yesterday I noticed the female sitting in it and went to look. The seed had been picked out of it and replaced by an egg. Just now, I noticed another one, but it's on the cage floor surrounded by the nocked out seed. How can I move this one to their makeshift nest, and are these eggs, since they were laid in a food cup with nothing in it and on the floor of the cage, likely to be fertilized?
