Jellyfish are quite amazing animals. They are also not filled with nothing xD. They have a complex nervous systems that are completely different from our own and are truly amazing creatures. Just the fact they move, eat, and reproduce are signs that they are living things. And there are as John said jellyfish that can go from their polyp form (sorta like a sea anemone) to their medusa form (what we think of jelly fish normally as) which would be sorta like us growing up, then resorting back to a baby, then growing up again. Truly amazing!
Some kind of jellyfishes are nearly immortal!
It is believed that some of them are a few thousands of years old and the secret of immortality could reside within them!
