I find your predicament amusing but in all honest I would try the advice Mermaids has given you. That said they might still recognize you. There is a chance you may have to be just persistent and wait them out.

The only thing I think of right now is to go inside your house and maybe wait until the next day and go outside again while wearing different clothes. They probably just think you killed their friend.

This morning while walking my dog I noticed a crow that looked quite sickly so I put my jacket over it and went to get to get it water. Realizing it was a lost cause I took my jacket and left the bird in the backyard. Hours later while walking the dog again I noticed these two crows following me and squawking very loudly. For smart birds they didn't see me let their friend go and now they won't stop harassing me and Idk what to do.
