Yes the vinegar. Fruit flies are attracted to vinegar, as in the wild the chemical in vinegar, asctic acid, is produced by rotting fruit.

They will go, as the vinegar evaporates. Next time you clean it, maybe use a different product.

I washed all my windows bar one with white vinager and pulled curtains over when I got up and 40 black bugs like fly's all on windows I checked the window I did not wash and not one bug on it. Why has this happened better yet how do I get rid of them should I respray windows with different spray? Would there be something in the vinager that attracted them ?
