It can go either way, actually. I've seen male lions kill full grown crocs before, but at the same time I have seen crocs catch and drag full grown lions to their deaths and eat them. It depends who gets the better bite first, however if the croc even manages to grab one, it's likely the lion is done for. I've also seen leopards kill crocs.
As for the adult salties? WERE they to somehow come across each other and fight, it's likely the lion would lose unless he managed to properly ambush and break its neck. Armor plating will help protect it, but not if the lion gets a good grip and breaks it.
So basically it can go either way, both are fully capable of killing the other, it just depends on the circumstances. On land a croc could still kill a lion should he get the first perfect bite, but so could a lion. In the water it's a no brainer, the croc would easily out maneuver the lion and could pull him under, even if the lion is hanging off of him, and could snag and drown it. That goes for crocs of any type over four or five feet, provided the water is deep enough.
chances is the crocodile because it's well armored.Maybe not only that crocodile can go back to the water while the lion look at it gazing ito the water crok can attack at a high speed.Lion also can win the match if the line can attack on his belly or bottom part it is as soft as a susi lion also has the chances..........
