Found two robin eggs in my pool?

Most probably the Babies are no longer living. Baby birds in eggs don't survive very long without their mothers incubation or a nest. They need constant warmth. The fact that they where in your pool, even lets say 5 minutes, I don't think they would have a chance at survival. If you want try keeping them warmed up for a few more days and see if you see any veins. If not then im afraid its over.

Sorry for the loss if its true. If not then best of luck Raising them. Whatever happened, it wasn't your fault, fate just brought you to them at the right time.

Hope I helped!! Best of Luck!!

Also, you see the veins on the 7th day of incubation :)

I was cleaning the pool and noticed two robin eggs floating side by side in the pool. I dried them off and put them in a box with a plastic cup of water for humidity, a fake nest, and a lamp over them. I called my local Wildlife Rehabilitator and they said I can try to incubate it but after two days I should candle it and if I don't see veins I should toss it. I tried to candle it and so far there are no veins just yolk. I haven't cleaned the pool for 3 days so at the most they could of been in there for 3 days. There aren't any nests that I know of near by. Could they be dead? How do I tell??
