If they don't, then that's that. Nature has her way with things and the best thing we can often do is stay out of it and let her do her job.
As long as you haven't touched the bird, the birds mother will have no reason to not want it back. Also, usually birds fly away when they get frightened so if it isn't flying away it doesn't feel frightened. As long as you know it is alive, and you've fed it, it will be fine.
well i guess u must leave it in the open like a balcony or something. well i've had two experiences. one of my own. we found a young pegion not yet able to fly. it was being chased away by othe older pegion in our terrace .we took it and kept it in our balcony. we tried to feed it with rice grains but it didnt eat it.later in the mornin it was found dead. i guess it was a sick pegion.
another one was when my friend found an injured bird and she fed it with (chana/alum)grain powder mixed with water. and after few days it was able to fly... .
find a hungry cat
My dad found this bird on our porch just sitting there, at first we thought it was stuck but we moved him and he flapped his wings a little to get away so he wasn't stuck!! he doesn't move at all and we gave him some bread and water but he haven't touched it. Is there anything we can do about it?? I think its some kind of sparrow!
