I don't think it would be a good idea to keep it as a pet. It's a wild bird and it belongs outside. If you take care of it, it may and may not get attached to you. I have three pet birds and only one of them is attached to me. You should release it after it's healed though. Hope this helps!

Yesterday I found some type of pigeon and I think it's hurt because it was on the floor and it can't fly very far it allows me to come up to him and hold him (he's still scared though) but I can hold him for a while and it just sits there if I care for it everyday will it eventually get used to me and like me? Or would it just grow mean and peck me, I want to keep it as a pet
