But I wonder if any zoos or animal rescue organisations would be a source of animals who would benefit greatly for your care.

The USDA and your individual state Department of Commerce might be able to provide information on approved importers.

Total shot in the dark here to ask this on Yahoo Answers, but I figured it couldn't hurt.

Does anyone have information to a business(or even multiple) or individual that deals with exotic animal import and exporting? I need a company(or persons) who have a good reputation that can find particular species of exotic animals and assist me in the purchase and transportation of said animals.

I am not one of those crazy people looking to have a tiger as a pet. Let's get that cleared up. I am working towards building a small animal park(licensed with permits, of course) currently and when we are ready to fill the enclosures, I would like to find a reputable source to obtain the animals.

I do know a few people in the industry, as I am a zoological manager currently, but would like to expand my knowledge of the companies/individuals that are in the business of importing and exporting exotic animals.

Please no lectures about owning exotic animals. I am well within the laws and these purchases will be a few years from now, when the enclosures are complete and meet or exceed local and federal standard requirements. Just trying to network and find some valuable resources in this sector.
