Yes, if your child got it from the bird, another bird can get it. Sorry. I'd for sure keep them separated. Sorry to hear it. Find a good avian vet for both birds, I'm not a professional. Definitely invest in some good medical cjare, and not just a vet, an AVIAN vet who specializes in birds. Even if you have to travel to get to one it's well worth it.
