Being chased away, you might not see it again, but I had one that hung around my room a couple months. I named him Willy, and he never once bothered me, then just up and disappeared.

Fear of spiders is irrational, i'm no spider expert but i doubt it's harmful, most spiders are not harmful.
Yesterday night there was a huge thin , long, brownish spider on my bedroom door and I called my dad to get rid of it but all he did was let it loose on the floor by scraping it off the door with his hand, the spider looked scared after that and I swear I saw it shaking on the floor, my dad lied to me saying it was dead, when I saw that he didn't even kill it, now it's missing, my mom tried to look for it but didn't find it (my room is small) even though her and my dad were actually half asleep and I'm scared to go back to my room, I stayed in my sisters bedroom overnight and I was wondering if it would have disappeared by now?
