Here is a tip: In the Bird world, the male is always the more colorful one, with color in the cheeks too. The FEMALE is very
very bland. Find the most bland one in the aviary and you will have the female.
Plus....Call Petsmart . Ask for their Bird Dept Head person. First of course you should ask if they have FEMALES in stock or can they order one for you? How/Who sexes them? Is their a sex guarantee?
Explain that you already have 3 male zebra finches and this time out of course you must have a female.

Yes they sell male and female zebra finches. But be careful. They can make a mistake on telling the gender as of previous expierience.
