"Do lions ever meet tigers in the wild?"

Their ranges do not overlap, the nearest they come is about 150 - 200 miles apart. Here is the range of India's native tiger (Bengal - Panthera tigris tigris)

Lions and tigers are co exist in India.

I watched a cool documentary which said that lions live in India. I find that rather surprising, since I only believed that lions live in africa, not anywhere else. Tigers live in India also. Do lions ever meet tigers in the wild?
