so, i have a lot of pill bugs here and i enjoy picking them up and letting them crawl around on my hand and seeing them roll up when they're scared
there are always some that seem to be different, though.
the kind that usually rolls up has no tail, usually has a very round exo-skeleton, and the points on the bottom of the shell point directly downwards.
the kind i tend to avoid that doesn't roll up that often has two little bits as a tail, the exo-kseleton is usually flatter, and the edges of it point back.
is this a species difference? or a gender difference possibly?
