I discovered this poor thing hours ago and wasn't content to leave him/her there because there are at least two stray cats that prowl around that area and I feared the dove would get killed and eaten. I went and caught it and decided to bring it home for the night. It's doing fine now sleeping. Poor thing must be exhausted. I would like to help it but I'm concerned about the law; would it be illegal to have a non-migratory bird such as a dove in my apartment? I'm hoping to get its' wing to heal within the time it takes until it's safe to go free and do it's pigeon things.
