The Waglere's Conure you own is called a Red-Fronted Conure and is not really that rare.You can get more information on them if you refer to her as a Red-Fronted Conure.Go to websites like Parrots.org(world parrot trust) and IUCN.They are listed as least concern but are in decline like many other parrot species.They require the same dietary needs as other conures that are similar in size.They have a natural diet consisting of fruit,nuts and seeds.

This is Ruby my wagler conure. There is little information on this species of conure and is generally confused with the cherry headed conure. I have been wanting a little more information on him or her and have not found any because they are so rare. If someone could give me info on their behavior and how they behave in the wild that would be great. Or am I the only one who owns one? :(
