Probably a parasitic ichneumonid wasp. They don't have a stinger. What appears to be a stinger is an unmodified ovipositor for depositing eggs.

I really need help figuring out what bug this was! It was flying, a tan/yellow color with dark parts, loooooong (daddy long legs style) legs, and a stinger. It was on my ceiling by my light. Relatively medium to small sized, like the size of a honey bee, but thinner. Please and thank you!
