Males can fight over the females and nesting locations. It would be best to see what pairs are bonded and remove the males that are fighting.
So I bought a huge flight cages for my Zebra finches and I have 8 zebras total, 4 male and 4 females, and now the males keep fighting. I'm wondering if I keep only one or two males and have 4-6 females if they will still breed or not, does anyone know or has tried this before? Thanks.
