My first year with 2 pigs,seems to have gone well. They're happy friendly & getting bigger & bigger! I plan to slaughter them in February with the help of my local butcher.
I've been thinking about getting a male & a female next year & then selling the piglets. The field is approximately 3/4 of an acre,some long grass,some short,big stones/rubbing posts,plenty of food & water,a large waterproof shed with lots of straw. Are there any reasons why I shouldn't breed pigs,(Just one litter.) Do you have any advice for me? Any help most appreciated.
