Spiders are just not the biters people think, and would rule them out unless you catch one in the act of biting.
Are you the only one with these injuries?
Could this be an allergic reaction to the new mattress/bedding ?
Heat rash? Ingrown hair (if you shave)? Infected pores? skin abscesses?
When I have bedbug bites, they begin to itch like hell and I claw at them. The sores last for at least a month. It's very possible though that you have flea bites. Maybe the last resident had a pet.
For pesticide, I go to WalMart or a home center and buy a gallon size of Ortho Home Defense. It has a nice, little sprayer attachment. It costs about $10 or less and lasts forever. It does a great job on any kind of insect. Make sure to spray behind any moulding/ baseboards and any tight spots. Bedbugs love to hide there. Spray the whole carpet using the spray setting. Spray behind baseboards using stream setting. All the bugs will be dead. Good luck.
so i have recently moved into a new flat, it looks like it has been empty for a while going by the spider webs everywhere. yet we havent seen any in the house. just outside. we are sleeping on a brand new mattress at the minute as we are waitng for frame to be delivered (could they be coming off the carpet?) and a few days ago i noticed some lumps on my legs, there was one on each leg, red lumps with a bit of a white ring around it they seem hard aswell. anyways after a few days its still hard and has redness around it but just looks like a spot which has been popped and has a small scab. i have woken up today with three new bites, the thing is they are no where near each other, they are spread all over my legs. i have read that with bed bugs and fleas you normaly find 5 or 6 bites all in the same area. what are these things and how do i get rid of them?!!?
