Young birds sitting up their first nest almost always build them in the wrong place. Almost always they will loose all of the babies from their first nest. I raise birds and hate to see babies lost. But in this case you will be doing them a favor by removing the nest. They will immediately seek a better place and build another nest and start again. Because breeding season is early they will still, most likely, have two clutches of babies this year. If you leave them in the air conditioner a preditor will most likely take them, so go ahead and move them and let them start again.
