Don't do anything to the bird just act like a statue and once it gets tired of flying around calmly and gently try catch him/her and place it back to its home

Wait till it comes down then corner it catch it put it back in the cage and I would probably get a new cage one harder to get out

So yesterday I got two finches. I was going to wait a few days before trying to take them. So today, I'm just sitting here minding my own business and I see one of them fly out of the cage. I don't know how it did it but now it can't get back in. All of the doors were closed. Can someone help me?
