well it could be the food

I found a pigeon yesterday and decided to keep him if he lived over night.

I found a recipe of food to give him. He is maybe 2-3 weeks old. He has feathers.

The recipe said bananas, wheat crackers, and water, boil it and mash it.

I just fed him, he was chirping non stop and after I fed him, he stopped chirping.

He is shaking his head and body and is quiet.

I emailed a local wildlife rehabilitation but they haven't responded yet. And I couldn't find a phone number.

Should I be worried?

I haven't seen any pigeons in a long time so I'm sure he is abandoned.

Please help!
