Try this page below. I put: human anatomy bones
in the Yahoo search bar.
EDIT: My mind went back to when I found a human knee that had a clean cut across the upper tibia, in a creek near my home. I assumed that your question concerned a human bone. I live where the old time gangsters like Al Capone lived. I also live near a place nick-named 'shoe corner' where ppl discard A shoe just for the fun of it. It actually was and maybe still is a site which has to do with getting rid of someone's identifying clothing and shoes. Underhanded. That's where my mind went about the bones!
The fastest and easiest thing to do is to take them to a vet or vets in town and ask. If told they aren't animal, then take a trip to your town's hospital to radiology dept and ask to speak to a technologist. (3-11 or 11-7am is best). Any tech can tell you if its a human bone and which bone it is.

If they don't have a similar bone listed on the website, you can send them pictures to identify.
Either take good pictures and email them to the head of a Biology department of your closest university or college or make an appointment and physically take them in. In the pictures, have a quarter or a ruler in there to give scale.
While hiking, I find all kinds of skulls and bones, fortunately, they've all been from various animals -- not human remains. ;)
You could take pictures and post them here on Q&A. There are enough of us on here to possibly make an ID for ya.
Okay, so we found some bones in a river and I'm wondering if anyone knows how to identify them, or knows any people or websites that can.
