Virginia opossums are highly unlikely to contract rabies because they have a low body temperature that does not allow the virus to replicate. So leave opossums alone,they are pretty harmless. Also, spotted hyenas can carry rabies but do not develop symptoms.

Skunks, they will carry it but rarely succum to it.
