I would HIGHLY suggest not keeping a ferret in the same room as any other small animal. Ferrets are carnivores and if for some reason a beloved hedgehog/bunny/rat got near the ferret it would be prey in an instant. Taking these precautions would insure that the pets are safe and happy.
I think this is a great thing and I wish I had someone I could trust to take care of my babies this weekend!
The best of luck to you and I hope this helped!!
Hi, i am soon going to open up a solo, pet sitting business. i will be doing everything on my own and i have a few questions and i want to have some feedback on my plan :) . I will be sitting small furry animals such as hamsters , ferrets, rabbits, mice, rats, chinchillas, etc. I have experience with many of these. my plan is for the owners do drop their pets off at my home , they should include food, and bedding, along with the cage. i would charge 4 to 7 dollars a day for my care, depending on the animal, and its needs. ( needs meaning the amount of time required out of the cage). I have one room where i would be able to place their cages, although i was wondering if it would be bad to keep all these different animals beside each other even if they have a cage.
Any suggestions? comments? feedback? tips? would be greatly appreciated ! thank you :)
